It's the OpenLibrary API. It's community contributed so it has lots of information but is also a little bit messy. The Google Books API looks OK but it seemed there were some limits to the number of API requests that I didn't fancy negotiating. I also tried to sign up to the Amazon Product Marketing API to make sure I get the right purchase links for books on Amazon, but I'm still waiting approval for that.
Thanks Tom :). Ya I hear that Amazon really limits your allowed calls based on how much revenue you send them. I went the manual route for now with what I am working on. And, then going to take a look at APIs toward the end of this year. Ingram's API looks to be the most complete but $$$ and archaic.
